Grey wolf's spirit dance

In spirit and body
I turned out and in
on time and space

my lacerated intestines exposed
in the moonshine and the ashes
of my burnt skin ascend with the smoke
filling my lungs and drops of my blood
fall on the ground

the many spirits and
the dimensions' relieving dance
takes place in my soul, my gray hair
is changed to the moon's silver beams
and my body becomes a grain of dust
in a cosmic cloud

I ascend as one with the universe
in order to meet the big father
my name is Grey Wolf
and long has my
travel been

where spirits are set free and
where souls find their peace

I found the eternal promised land
there between sky and sea
where the eagle flies free
over the prairie and the
wolf and the bear
live side by side
in harmony

there will my spirit dance
around the eternal fire,

the fire that has been burning
since the dawn of time under
the watch of the hawk’s sharp eye
where the land under my feet
gives life a meaning complete
fulfilled in eternity

in a peaceful moment
the spirit travels
to the holy
promised
land
