2026-09-12 Hi Artorius, many of us get rejected.
Don't give up trying, I'm not saying that this is why,
Where are the commas and full stops.
I personally struggle with them.
As for your poem, i liked the flow and the rhythm.
Continue honing your skills here on poetbay,
It is a nice place to be. Regards Alan

2026-09-04 I hear your voice,
The trouble is,
As you fall.
You have too,
Pick yourself up.
I'm certain that,
A girl like you.
Will eventually find,
Someone else to love
As they will love you.

And still is very proud of you.
With the way you write.

2026-09-02 Hi Ken I hope we will always be friends.
And yes I do agree sometimes
The papers do get wrong. Including
That particular story about a grenade.
But the stories that I write, I try to confirm
Before I write. There have been many handed
Items given to charity shops including in the UK.
The odd grenade. There's two many for me sight,
On this poetry site. But I will publish what happened to
One in Finland. Regards Alan

Given up, you have friends

You shouldn't cut yourself. Your an amazing
Individual that deserves better.
Please take care of yourself dee,
Much love from all of us on poetbay.

2026-07-03 Inspiration comes in many ways.
In my younger day's I was a bus conductor,
On a open top bus to beachyhead.
On the top of my waybill it read,
In inclement weather take bus to garage.
So I wrote and crossed out each one.
Inclomerated, Inclimented, inclomerated.
Then I wrote: it rained.
Nice to hear from you Marie.
Hope your in a fine fetal of health.

2026-05-25 High Melinda.
I've often pondered on this,
Writing poetry that may be misconstrued.
Luckily I've only had one troll.
My philosophy has been to publish my scribbles,
Know matter what. As for people reading my poetry,
I'm happy that they do. As for your own poetry,
It's unique because it's written by you. Don't forget that,
And believe me when I say, you belong with the elite,
Here on poetbay.
Kind regards Alan

2026-04-27 Hi dee
Sorry you feel that way I must confess,
I feel depressed everyday. So I sort of know
what your going through. I can feel the pain
in each word you've written, I agree with Ken.
You sound as though you have a lovely soul,
Don't believe you are bad in anyway, stop
listening to those thoughts that tell you that you are.
Their not what your God would want you to do.
Take care of yourself dee and know you have
found friends here on poetbay.
Regards Alan

2026-04-20 As a man I'm disgusted with this,
I feel anyone who rapes,
Should be castrated.
Especially when it's considered
That someone who's a rapist,
Doesn't get the punishment to
Fit the crime.
