Walking alone again

I used to walk with a loved one holding my hand,
I used to walk with a smile on my face,
And a feeling of invulnerability,
I Walked for days, and we where unstoppable.

Then one day you left me,
Standing alone on a street,
and rain trickling down my neck,
And my chest a gaping chasm
Where once my loving heart once lay.

My life was over,
My dreams ripped apart,
My soul in pieces,
And my love gone without a trace
