We dig our own graves.

Slumbering In My Shallow Tomb

I can't believe you
without falling apart
I can't trust you
with my broken heart
If you leave me now
there will be no turning back
I'll just bow down to the
fleeting shades of black

I can't hope that
you'll stay to guide me free
I can't imagine why
you would accept the girl that's ME
If you turn and run
I'll just run the other way
But only til the dying sun
signals my last day

Then you'll never worry
and I'll never have to fear
Then you'll hear a whisper
and won't have to lend an ear
We'll both of us be free
on the day that I am gone
I, slumbering in my shallow tomb
while you must live on...

This is a great piece. As Kathy said, great flow and wonderful images. Its a time we all go through at one stage or the next, you have portrayed it beautifully in this medium. Nice job :)
