A drop of Rain
A drop of rain from a clear blue sky.I stood amazed at this single event.
I wondered where it came from,
this single drop of rain.
I stood and wondered almost dreaming,
When it fell from the sky.
It landed on a rose,
in the velvet pouch nestled in its splendour,
for all to see
This single drop of rain.
Then it hit me like a rainbow blast of emotions,
I miss you.
Like I miss the rain on a hot summer's day.
Like I miss the rainbows shining glory,
after the shower of life.
I Miss You.
When I lay here on this hot summer's day,
I whish you where here,
to help me wash away this absence of you,
To be my single drop of rain,
On a clear summers day.
