The people now wounded
But is that all?
Flags pay tribute
To the many now gone
All the heart felt smiles
Over the rising dawn
When the building was hit
No one could comprehend
The lives and love severed
Would our nation ever mend?
9-11 is a day in history
That will never depart
From the feelings and thoughts
Locked deep in our heart
As the night falls
The day of rememberance: 9-11
I can truly say without a doubt
That this day now resides in heaven
