Why



The whole world was sleeping
I was sitting and thinking
Why the sun is yellow
Why there are buffalos
Why the moon is white
Why is it dark at night
Why the sky is blue
Why good people are few
Why are we afraid of ghosts
Why I wasn't born in the month of August
Why the leaves are green
Why are the roots brown
Why the birds can fly
Why do people die
Why do man can't give birth
Why do animals can run first
Why am I sitting and thinking
Why am I not sleeping
Why my name is Zainab
Why why is this the only question
Am I a poet
Yes I am
And this is just a poem
I think thats why
