what love's supposed to be

right after you leave, yeah I start to miss
lately I been wondering if this
if this is what love is
yeah, candy, hugs, and sweet talks
holding hands on late night walks
want excuses to cuddle, thats why we dont wear socks
is that what love really is?

well Isn't this what love's supposed to be
those whispered words, yeah I love you
oh and when youre gone, dont know what to do
Isn't this what love's supposed to be
hearts with you , everything I do
all my life, yeah I live for you
Isn't this what love's supposed to be
well looks like there's not enough for me

lookin down at my feet everywhere I walk
half hearted when I listen or talk
is this what love is
wishing desperately for your touch
never wanted to hear a 3 words sentence so much
think about you ,my hand to my heart I clutch
is that what love really is?

takes so long, but I'm never really moving on
try to push out thoughts of you, got to stay strong
is this what love is?
oh yeah I'll live forever with this regret
love for mistakes, distrust, yeah i get
that, well I think I want to trade in my set
is that what love really is?

Perceptive. It reminds me of William and Kate. We are lucky if these feelings last, they just get in the way of our lives I think. Very good poem which I enoyed reading. Well done.
