butterflies

another day rides by our lives
collide and butterflies flutter inside
I stutter sometimes cause my eyes
see more then I deserve that's why
I try to make promises to you
all this is too new I don't know what to do
so I'll soak in every moment
hopin' you'll forever love me too
and so I'll wait weeks or months if I must
only ask but I won't rush
take my hand and just trust in us
hush now, smile for me
drink in let every moment slowly
sink in know me and you
linked in love and what I'm thinkin'
every second every day
is my baby happy, is she doin' ok?
a new breeze blew in and hey
I owe you a debt I can never repay
it's been you lately baby that has kept me together
you kept my heart open hopin' it will all get better
and trusted me unconditionally one fun fish in the sea
and bait's forever yours, we can travel distant shores
take tours and trips together
if you put up late night snores :)

trust that this is real and I won't let it break
I know no doubt there's no mistake
I love you today, I'll love you tomorrow
I'll love you every year
this thing we have is special
and it only gets better from here
