One of sorrow and pain and hurt and gloom
There's a new poem in my heart
One of desire and happiness and warmth and bloom
These poems in my heart
Of contrasting emotions
Of two worlds in one
Of shared feelings in one train called love
A strange thing that many doth not understand
Not even I
There is a new poem in my heart
One of truth and honesty and reality
A poem about life and belief and our Heavenly Deity
A poem that speaks of a higher calling and true piety
A poem that highlights the need for change and a reflection of self
There is a new poem in my heart
A new poem that my mind is still trying to figure
For in the heart lies issues of life
Guarded secrets that traverse all elements of reason
That defy the basic tenets of rationalism
There is a new poem in my heart
A fiery poem raging with flames of emotion
A poem that calls for mindful caution
Yet demands mindless imprudence
There is a new poem in my heart that I am still writing
Still trying to finish
Still trying to make sense out of
