Silenced by hatred fierce

A tear of anger,
A tear of love,
A tear for the feelings not wanted,
A tear for the friends never here.

I shed a tear for love not shared,
I shed a tear for friends not spared,
I shed a tear for dreams not reached,
And a tear for hopes that lost their flame.

I cry for the loved ones harmed,
I cry for the families not spared,
I cry for my life with no light.

With a final breath we shall die,
And life a distinguished flame,
And dreams crushed by others blame,
And the laughter silenced by hatred fierce.

The conflict of others,
The gain of few,
The profit of kindness not wasted,
And a dollar bill for a soul is granted.

That is the tune of wars,
And life's flame forever silenced.
