In sadness you leave us now

In sadness you leave us now,
In sorrow you have departed,
We are gathered here,
to say how much we love you,
We are here to say what a joy you were,
A joy to know, and talk to.
About life, food, toilets, and feet.

All of us here today,
Has lost a piece of their life,
We lost it when you departed from us,
When you left, we stood and cried.

In this sadness i whish you well,
And i hope that you watch over us,

When the life's candle faded,
Death took your soul,
And put you on you way to a better place,
So now when you are there,
Say hello to our loved ones,
And remember grandpa, this is not good bye
This is only a pause, and we will see you soon.

can I read that again?
this was profoundly touching to my life experience.
And I am glad you had given it a voice and a form on a page.
A great tribute.
