You'd be surprised to learn that in life we need to learn how to get up after the fall. That way even if no one was there to catch us when we fell, we still have the strength to march on by picking ourselves, moving on and deciding to be strong. :)

It is what most of us want to do but lack the guts to do it. I understand why he thought this society diseased, why he saw it was better to just make himself happy....he is the only one that mattered anyway, so he had every right to live the way he lived. Maybe it wasnt suicide at all. Maybe thats how it's supposed to be....only that we dont get it.
Nevertheless, an excellent write.

Sounds pretty much like someone I know:)......really like the figures of speech as well as the carefully woven words. Yes, there are people we want to feel pity for but in the end they get us so frustrated. I think though that 'his highness' type of people are the most lonely and the most hurt in this world. So even if it feels they dont deserve our time, they need it most.

If I tell you what I think about it maybe you'll think I am way off the mark but here goes anyway: I think the warrior lives inside us all. Sometimes life gets so crazy, so many battles to fight. But then like the warrior, our zeal to go on only comes when we are in solitude, in a place where we stop and look at nature's beauty or just think about the things in life that we love.....things that give us the strength to go on, then once we reach that point, we get the heart to go headstrong into the battle of life, and fight on with zeal!

There is something nostalgic in this whole poem that makes me think of a soul that was so similar to others I know...."I will think of you tonight"...brings a feeling of a worthy friend,one who took his time off to marvel at nature and think of another.....the imageries you have used in totality make it more real,to think of riding up in space....I just dont think I can really explain what it makes me feel...that I guess is teh beauty in it:)
