The sky is a clear blue,
Im standing alone,
Here without you.
I weep in sorrow,
I wonder why,
When the time came,
You left me to die.
Im sitting here,
the sky is grey,
The sun has gone,
I still hope to see you one day.
When a loved one leaves,
we stand and wait,
with severed lines,
And wonder if this was our fate.
Still today,
I hold you blameless
I wish to say to you,
That my forgiveness is endless,
My love for you eternal,
But my time on this earth is not.
