Daily Meeting

I have you here in my arms
Uncontrollably sobbing in grief
Just let it all out
I'm here for relief

I know it's hard, life's mournful song
I know it's painful, when all of it goes wrong
What's the point?, you said to me
I feel terrible that I have no answer to give thee

But I do know this
That all things come to pass
Just hold on a little longer
No longer will you suffer this harass

Just cry as long as you want
Stay here as long as you need
I'm not going anywhere
I'm here as long as you bleed

I love you so much
Words cannot express
You are so beautiful
When you're in distress

And I am so glad to be here
To be able to console
As I take you into my arms
Lay your head tortured soul

And know that whatever you go through
There will be me
To help you through
The pain you see

You rise above me
You're better now
You wipe your tears
You wipe your brow

One last embrace
Before we part
You're on your way
Off to a new start

As I see you walk away
It tears me apart that the same thing will happen tonight on the phone
Because as much as I give my optimism to you
You don't have the strength to fight life off alone.
