Wrote this to a friend who moved overseas


Goodbye

The hardest word there is
the hardest to do
& the most painful...

Sometimes you don't wanna cry
you don't want to hurt
& you don't want to say bye...

Why do you want to go?
Why are you leaving me alone?
Why can't we talk about things?

I wish you could stay,
I wish you could take me with you
but then again we would never
stay together
& stay happy!

I hate to say goodbye,
I hate to see your eyes full of tears
& most of all I hate myself
for letting you go!

I wish this was HELLO
but instead it's GOODBYE!

WHY?
