The Sea's Sagacious Song
The tide rushes forwardCrystal clear water in torrents of fluidity
Flowing forth for future generations
Remembering calm peace and irate strife
And the last vestiges of a simpler life
Now rejoining the sea of memory
Stretching across a vastness utterly incomprehensible
To any human reason or understanding
Some parts tumultuous and tempestuous
Others serene and safe
All meeting in a confluence of simultaneous darkness and light
Waves crashing, the power of this sea evident
The myriad memories to this point have been decisively sent
Utter chaos; definitive violence penetrates the air
A storm is brewing over this terrible turmoil
Yet standing in the core
I find I understand and observe
Only peace, serenity, and beauty
Nothing more.
