Walk of The Tarmac Path

2006-02-09
That lonely road :( We all walk there sometimes Alex. But I have thoughts of people that are special to me and so I am never really alone I suppose. My thoughts are with you as you struggle to find your path.

Blow The Winds On Me

2006-02-03
A very interesting song. I guess it shows something of the feelings of being locked away. I don't know what else to say, sorry

Sometimes I feel like the beehive, other times I feel like the raincloud [In response to Zoya's and Kip's Sometimes series.]

2006-02-03
Awesome, just... awesome!

Sometime I feel I am the Candle off your Honeycomb...(answer to kip's honeybee)...

2006-02-03
another excellent write in the "series" :)

"Round Robin"(a wish for Veld Cooper)

2006-02-03
How do you tell someone you care? How can you say you are thinking of them and praying for them? Zoya, you did all of that, and more, in this poem. Showing you are a very kind and warm hearted person, while saying the things we all need to hear.
My prayers each night include Veld for a safe journey through this time and for a return to good health.

They

2006-02-03

I have to agree, the site is very addictive, and so many good things to choose from make it too hard to log off again. Well said! :)

Hollow Existence

2006-01-31
I walk this lonely road, the only road that I have ever known... (Boulevard of broken dreams - Green day)
Like that song(one of my favourites), your poem reminds us that not one of us knows where our road will finally take us, but we still walk along it into our tomorrows.
Again, it made me think, Thank you for sharing this my friend.

This kiss

2006-01-30
The wanting to, the being afraid to dare to, and the total exhileration when you do, at last. Brilliant poem!

For those suicide left behind.

2006-01-30
Your words touched me so much. saying thank you seems not enough for your kindness and thoughts.

Friends help without being asked and never know just how much they have done by just being there. I have been so blessed with truly amazing friends, of which I count you among them.

The Pacific Bay

2006-01-29
All storms pass and soon the calm returns. Reading your words brings that serenity so close we touch it in our minds. Your poetry is far and beyond anything I could even dream of achieving. Superb!

The Winds of Love and Drugs

2006-01-27
I usually get bored reading something that is just one long piece with no breaks. This one carried me all the way through because it tells an amazing story in your own way.

...Fourteen Falls...

2006-01-26
The poem being about Nature drew me in to read, the words you wrote sucked me in to the scenes you described.
Incredible writing, thank you for sharing with us.

To my beloved brother

As you say "no end"
because my friend Alex, it is a new beginning!
Another excellent write!

Where?

2006-01-23
Love is not a item
it's a feeling you can't explain
Love is leaving your girlfriend
and impatient to meet her again

Love is born in the family
As we grow we learn it's touch
But when we find someone special
That feeling starts growing so much

Love can't be explained that easily
But you will know when it captures your heart
For when you find love for another
You can't bear it to be apart

Another wonderful thought in your words Alex! Brava!

Damn you needle[ this poem IS NOT about drugs]

2006-01-23
I don't know if you meant it like this, but it had me in stitches!
I cannot sew at all, despite my mum trying to teach me for when I leave for university!

Romantic

2006-01-23
Beautiful! Simply.. beautiful.

Hearts so close

2006-01-23
Your words caught my attention because I love nature and poems about nature. I also love my girlfriend so much and have shared that "blanket" scene. For saying you have not had that pleasure, you got the feeling just perfectly right! Excellent :-)

Cherries

2006-01-22
You make us aware of the differences. For us born on the right side of the divide, we take it all for granted. Your poem shows us just how lucky we really are.

THOUGHTS

2006-01-21
You did it again! I never gave a thought before to the thought process, but here you have opened my mind to how it all comes about. Superb!

Derailed off the track [and I'm not coming back]

2006-01-20
Another great write saying how you feel but leaving it to us, the readers, to take our own message from your words.

Poem from a thankful mind

2006-01-19
Friends give us a lot without asking in return. This poem sums up the real meaning of the word "friend".
A good poem that carries the message really well.

Woman Burning Bright!

2006-01-19
Religion and customs. We always ask questions of them but we still obey them.

This poem is an amazing insight to the ways of other people from our shared world.

Hold My Memory..

2006-01-17
I cried. All I can say J.

[My tears] Only the dark shall see

2006-01-17

I Often Wonder...

2006-01-10
I want to comment so much on this poem but there is nothing I can say that would be good enough to give your words the praise they truly deserve.
*Bookmarked*
I also want to print it out for keeping in my journal where I can read it again and again. (with your kind permission).

Nothing Lasts Forever.

2006-01-10
An amazing poem and a great twist in the last verse!

Farewell

2006-01-10

Street Urchin

2006-01-08
So sad.
Again, your words put the story gently but still imprints the message on my brain.

This poem should be shared and read by so many of the worlds "don't cares".

What would a NON-VEGETARIAN-FED hen eat?

2006-01-07
I Loved this! :-) (-:

Seeds and grain, some worms too
Little bugs and dare I say poo
If you think they don't eat meat
Consider this little tasty treat

Hens take worms from the ground
And we all know they've been around
From the cemetery they meet their end
Having feasted on a long lost friend

So in answer to your query
And I don't mean to shock you dearie
Hens eat meat in a sort of way
Consider that the next time they lay!

Sorry, but I just HAD to reply! ;-p

Cloudwalkers

2006-01-06
Clouds carry our daydreams for another to share.
I enjoyed the image you made :)

The Place I Call Home.

2006-01-05
The time for me to leave home is coming nearer every day and I think a lot about where I will be in the future. Your poem gives me hope that I can find somewhere I want to be too. I really did enjoy your thoughts.

Sun, Moon and the Virgin Snow

2006-01-05
Your words were so real, I felt I was there seeing, hearing, "tasting" the scenes you described. Incredible poem, thank you!

It's nice to know someone cares.

2006-01-03
A question I have asked my writing friends a lot of times. Do we write for ourselves, or for others?
It is always nice when others tell us they liked our poems etc. :-)
Thanks for sharing this with us.
Liam

An empty chair is a such a sad reminder.
Your poem touched my soul.
